The term “diaspora” refers to people who have emigrated from their own countries and established in other nations. Either they fled the country voluntarily or they were forced to. Abraham, an ancestor of the Jews, was first compelled to flee Iraq. So he sought refuge in Egypt. After that, his Jewish descendants were forced to leave Egypt and sought refuge in Palestine.
