The law and order situation in Barishal is steadily deteriorating. People have been living in fear for the past few days. They are insecure since killings, hijackings, and other antisocial behaviors occur even during daylight hours. Toll collectors are collecting money from nearly every shop and business center in the city. If someone refuses to participate in such disruptive acts and protests, his life will be in continual danger. People are unable to move freely due to a lack of safety. The majority of the residents of the town are unwilling to file a complaint against these antisocial criminals. The local cops are hesitant to take action against them. Law enforcement authorities are oblivious to murder, robbery, and hijacking. So, criminals are moving freely in broad daylight. We, the sufferers of the town, want an immediate remedy of this condition.
