Subject: For taking steps to clean up the garbage in front of Tongi Govt. College
Sir, We, the students of Tongi Govt. College, Tongi, would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that the road in front of the main gate of our college has become a dumping site. Throughout the road, there are piles of garbage. From household garbage to construction rubbish, everything is dumped here. We have very often requested the commoners not to throw their waste products here but they pay no heed to us. Because of the disgusting starch it becomes very difficult for us to stay in the classrooms let alone concentrate on study. In such an unhygienic environment, many students have already become sick. Our college authority has informed the local councilor several times bet no action has been taken. We believe that you will look into the matter seriously.
We, therefore, request your honor to take immediate steps to clean up the surroundings so that we con continue our study in a sound environment.
