(Rural life and town life) City life and village life vary from each other in many aspects. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. In a city or town people enjoy various facilities while the villagers are deprived of them. Most of the technological and modern facilities are available in cities. People lead somewhat easy and comfortable life there. They can enjoy the facilities of goods transports for movement, standard educational institutions and qualified teachers, modern hospitals and qualified doctors for better treatment, arrangements for recreation, earning facilities round the year and so on. On the other hand, the villages people cannot enjoy these facilities and so their life is somewhat drab and difficult. The city people are usually educated rich and crafty. The differences between the rich and poor are evident here. This lifestyle of the city people is comparatively complex. They have to eat adulterated foods, breathe in polluted environment and live in congested areas. Consequently, they often suffer from various diseases. On the contrary, the village people, live in pollution free environment, eat fresh foods and suffer from liver diseases. They lead simple and carefree life. They are sympathetic and help each other in times of danger. They are not as artificial and selfish as city people. Again, snatching killing, theft etc. are common affairs in cities while rural are almost free from such crimes and violence. In spite of having merits and demerits, both city life and rural life have their own charms and importance and both are complementary to each other.
